ExamXML Editor's Review

ExamXML compares two XML files and shows you the differences between them. The user interface has two panels, each displaying the XML structure of a file. The nodes are highlighted or not, according to their status. Deleted nodes (the nodes which appear only in one XML file) are red, while modified nodes are displayed using the green color.

Jumping directly to the highlighted nodes is very simple, because the program provides navigation buttons. These buttons help you go to the next difference or to the next deleted item. You can choose to ignore certain nodes, so they won't be analyzed.

Other useful features are available. You can import and export to Excel, compare or save fragments of the XML files, or you can even import results from an SQL query.

Pluses: A search feature is provided. This is very useful if you have large XML files.
